About The Perch

Our Story

A Family History

The Perch is located on a working farm which has been in our family for four generations and over one hundred years. We have always stopped to enjoy the spectacular views and it is our pleasure to share the scenery with our guests. We want you to have a unique sustainable experience in our favourite part of the world.

The Lake

The Perch is nestled on a hill overlooking a spring fed lake. Our own spring water source can be enjoyed in each holiday home, flowing directly from the tap. A variety of wildlife can be seen and the lake is home to rainbow and brown trout.

Renewable Energy

Our commitment to sustainable practices is evident as all our holiday rentals are powered by renewable energy from our wind turbine and solar panels. Ensuring a minimal environmental footprint. You can enjoy your getaway guilt free in an eco-friendly luxury stay that respects and protects the natural beauty of our surroundings. Our property is unique in this regard and we aim to be at the forefront of luxury eco tourism.

Explore the Causeway Coast

The North Coast is a popular location with tourists. With luscious green grass and golden sandy beaches. Is it any wonder it is called the ‘Emerald Isle’. The world famous Giant's Causeway is just a small drive from The Perch and Portrush with its famous Golf Course which featured in the Open is just 5 minutes away.  Portstewart is another tourist area of beauty with a beautiful harbour looking out to Castlerock and Donegal.

The Perch is a great central point to many of the most popular tourist areas in the North Coast and is also not far from some filming locations of the famous HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’. If you are a fan of the series, the Perch is a great base to explore the famous landmarks.
